Drawing and creating stories has been my passion sine I can remember myself. As s matter of fact it seems this phase isn't going anywhere since I still like devoting every spare moment I have to learn more and keep improving my art, and ideas as well.
Science had always been a huge influence on my life. I was part of many science clubs and summer camps growing up, I liked reading scientific literature (and I still do). I believe art just like science is an interpretation for reality itself. a way for our brain to process it's own existence. Telling stories that explore the uniqueness and beauty of nature is what drives me the most.
My statement
Upon my high school graduation, the sorting for my military service came along (since I lived in Israel). Luckily, I had knowledge in 3D animation and my drawing skills. I had the opportunity to serve in the Israeli Air Force as a simulation-and-special-effects animator. There, I had a chance to collaborate with other artistic talents. People that share dreams of engaging their creativity and passion in their careers. It was amazing to use my skills for film making for the first time in my life. Not to mention the privilege of training and practicing what I love as a full time job.
During this period, I developed a deep appreciation to the complexities of nature through art, and also began to attend figure drawing classes. The vision of pursuing this career developed sharper than ever before. Art has become part of my world view, and a way to process reality and other concepts that have captivated me for years. Whether it is music or the workings of this universe, the acknowledgment that our mind can process our reality in such ways inspires me and assist to the creation of my artwork. I love to develop complex stories and characters based on historic figures, science or other of my favorite works of fiction, learning and staying curious is a lifelong mission for me.
I’m looking forward to dedicate my lifetime in mastering this medium, create media that open people’s horizons, and maybe let them appreciate life a bit more.
